Meh, it seems easyer just to keep Vista. I haven't really encountered any bugs yet, besides on time my keyboard was locked, thats it. I'll just keep vista until MS makes make get off, But I havea feeling that that will come at a very bad moment.

Doesn't have to be that complicated. As I said, I did fine just installing windows without formatting the drive.Cosmos wrote:Cant you copy the folder to another computer? And then uninstall and then copy again?
And regarding multi's question: The reason Vista is terrible is because of three reasons:
1. It is still a work in progress OS.
2. It crashes as much as ME and 98 put together.
3. The blue screen of death has returned.

Yep. It is has that next gen feel where even if you have no experience with computers it explains in a neat little paragraph what was wrong.gh0570fchurch wrote:Uh-oh.metkillerjoe wrote:The blue screen of death has returned.
Unlike the old blue screen where you can't find the problem easily.
Oh did I mention that it shuts your computer down automatically in 5 seconds after the screen appears? Very convienient...

I was playing Jet Force Gemini on Project 64, and wanted to cheat to get no heat, so I had some hex values locked, well it turns out these were actually connected to my player I think. So when I died, I got the BSOD. It was kinda funny. But I restarted and everything was fine.Angry Man wrote:What the hell did you do to get the BSOD to appear in XP?? lol mutsa really funked somethig upa mammoth wrote:I havn't had it crash on me yet... and I also got the blue screen of death in XP once or twice. You see guys, its not that I'm afraid of reinstalling windows or anything, as I have done it before, but its that I can't find my XP CD.
My dad took it when I stupidly bought a computer from dell so I wouldn't loose it, well now he denies that he took it and I can't find it.
