Connection Problems

Well, I recently reformatted my hard-drive, and I'm having troubles connecting to the internet (On my PC) Infact I cannot connect to the internet at all, I've tied all the options > create new broadband connection, connect through my current connection, configure connection manualy / automatically etc. etc. etc. ... Why the fuck cant I connect? Can anyone help me with this?

What kind of network adapter are you using? You might not have drivers for it.

Did you install the drivers for your ethernet port? Usually you get a back up drivers and installations disk or something, just pop that in, and search for whatever your ethernet port is. Mine's like intel something.

double-check drivers and make sure that TCP/IP was installed. windows xp should install it by default, but some weird thing might have happened to keep it from doing that.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

Call your ISP operator and ask to be connected.

no he means speak... Cosmos talks as he types... i've seen him do it... he just doesn't know it.

Is the internet on ur compy wireless or hard wired?
