Scotty... I meant putting Ascension's BSP in another map.. So its still ascension.... Just without that bug.

That would be a good idea so then you could inject more stuff and your bipd won't lose its body.

I don't see why you need to inject so much for a skin...
Like you'd add a box! some trees or some kind of totem pole! Not like 60 machs or whatever.
It remains on ascension only.

I think because he saw earlier that Scotty said he couldn't enter it because of the ascension bsp in gemini thing ( or that ascension couldn't be in any bsp) so CptnNsano was saying it as he was sad.

Everybody has a shot at winning this. You have two weeks and a day now to create the skin and polish it up...Good thing is is that if a good skin comes out early, it will push all of you further to beat that person to get such an awesome prize

No...Simply not.
Just because some people want to add things to the map and stuff it up doesnt mean we should allow other bsps...Because the thing is its a skinning contest...If someone tries to add things to the map and stuffs it up its not really my problem seeing as I know of so well that you can skin ascension perfectly, you can add things to it and you can inject custom sounds.

And yes Imust also rule out the additions of weapons and ading new vehicles...That is not a skin...

The reason scenery and sounds are allowed is because they can help greatly when it comes to setting the theme to the skin and can potentially make up for the things the skin itself lacks...Adding weapons and vehicls does nothing...Its not as if I'll exclude you if you do add new weapons and such but your chances of winning are slimmer and I wouldnt even take into account that there are more weapons as it does nothing to the skin.

I'm going to get this contest front page news on halomods hopefully. (poor sentence I know)

So First prize winner now gets on mimesis and has me making a mod of it (or perhaps mimesis waits for me to make the mod for it then it goes up there)

So basically this is the best chance for you guys to get your abilities noticed!

hmm, im debating on whether i should try this or not. I know im not the best at photoshop but im good with special effects. The only skin i have done was one for burial mounds and that had grass that looked like astro turf. If i can find the bloom, i think i can find other cool effects for a skinned map though. I look forward to seeing other people's skins.
