Ok, so i opened a map in hex editor and instead of just scenarios/multi/blah/blah... it has scenarios/multi/marathon/blah/blah... ok... So i deleted it and saved. NOW, dothalo isn't accepting it. Turns out, I can't delete anything in the hex coding for it to work properly. Infact, I had to change one name and have some extra character to keep the length intact. Ok... so... that ***, so i just added the /marathon/ to the path in dothalo when adding it to my main menu. well it worked for gemini but i never got the other working. and when i put /marathon/ in on the other one, it does the bungie intro (and i cant skip) and then it starts a loading process which wasnt there prior. After the loading, it says the disc is dirty. Ok... 1.) how can i edit the hex without it getting upset with me. 2.) is the loading part of the patch i added? Because I created two seperate maps. one with and without patch.
and anything else that is usefull i'd like to know. thanks
