I downloaded the great video tutorial from this website (HaloMods.com) about Halo Level creating and watched the Tutorial 02.
As far as I know, I did everything right! I did everything the guy in the video did! I created a box 46000 x 46000 x 10000, converted it to a mesh and did all the other steps. Then I created two metarials. A sky material with defuse color and another one with a bitmap.
I created my TIFF in Adobe Photoshop 7.0, with the settings "Compression NONE" and "IBM PC"... It has a size of 1304x1304.
But when I drag the material and drop it on my skybox then the ground won't appear grey as said in the video.
And go to the Modifier list and click on UVW Map then it WON'T show up on the ground of my skybox as said in the video!!!!
The whole box is just as blue as the blue sky of my material!!!
I have no idea why!!! The two bottom faces have been selected...
Maybe the TIFF file is to big? Or the skybox is to big? Or can 3dsmax not read photoshop created tiffs??? WHAT IS IT??? Iam desperate! HELP ME!!!!
