There is a glitch with strings - the string is actually printed in game with the quotes (") still there. They aren't in the mod I released because I edited them out in a hex editor.

If you recompile my source code you'll get all of the quotes back in.

PS: I used the original version of your compiler for this - not sure if your new one (the one with AI squads added) would affect how this worked in any way.

PPS @Shalted: Arithmetic expressions are screwed up in the compiler if you haven't gotten the numerous hints yet. IE, if I make a global "loltest" as a short set to 0, and try to use "(set loltest (+ loltest 1))", or even "(set loltest [short](+ loltest 1))", it doesn't change the value at all - stays at 0.

Well, I should be able to easily remove the quotes. (Didn't have yelo when I first wrote it so I couldn't test >_>), and I'll look into the arithmatic functions.
Awaiting connection...

About links - the site it is hosted on (agentme.no-ip.org) is hosted on the computer that I'm using right now, so if this comp was off at the time you tried to download the mod, it wouldn't have worked. Try re-downloading now.

I'm going to make a FriHost website soon and host my mods there soon...

Well it is at this moment the most complex script mod ever done in Halo 2 :P But I also released it to get more people interested in scripting.

*Cough*Most complex? ...*Cough* And maybe people would be more interested in scripting if better- or should I say complete- compilers were released.

Well, its most complex at the moment compared to any other mods done so far (I don't think a half-gravity coag one-line script is much competition :P )...

And I do agree if there existed a better compiler more would be interested and more complex could be done... But I'm not the one to complain to about that - I can't even interpret 7887's scripting hex tutorial, so I wouldn't be able to program a thing to help there.

But I still think there are some things that the compiler can support that I haven't even got close to...

@Shalted: Can the compiler support named volumes and named script objects, like vehicles?

Agent I think your refering to SoL's tut. Also, I think it would be easy to make a compiler that translates your custom scripts back into hex for you to inject. Am I wrong? Just do an if statement, like a certain letter = a hex value.

I still don't understand the grammar of the scripting language. I wish someone would realease a tut on these things

in the meantime, I'll just have to sit in front of my screen and play this mod :) . So far, it's the coolest script I've ever seen. Although being first of two isn't totally awesome...

Edit: is there anywhere to find all the pre-set scripts, like the game_save used in this mod? That would be cool.
