I would say that your mother dying is about as serious as it gets, regardless of age.
Hang in there man. It get's darkest just before dawn.

I can attest to that.

I got dumped 10 months ago and still feel like absolute shit. If mum died... guh. I've considered it a few times, but if I'd gone through with it I never would've been able to do the awesome stuff I have since.

I disagree, I think its good for people to show their support.
Sure, but being all sad about it doesn't help.

Of course not, but people should show their condolences.

if you are considering suicide you should first think about all the people that do care about you, and how you would affect them by leaving you'd make them feel just as bad as you do now

Actually I was just kind of thinking about this, in health we were talking about life expectancy and how I would probably live to be about 100 or more, which means 2089. But thinking about it, I want to live longer to see all the new stuff they have then, if the developmental curve for humanity keeps going at an exponential rate I want to see what's in store.

Yea, I want to see how fast file transfer rates will be. Although it probably wont matter since the file sizes wil increase as files get larger and more complex.

For the most part, I agree with that, but what if other people(s) lives depend on whether you commit suicide or not?

let's not get into hypothetical stuff. when's the last real-life situation been where you had to kill yourself unless someone else would die?

whatever, let's just stay on topic. suicide is a sign of weakness. tough it through and it will make you a better person. my parents went through a divorce, but i got over it, they act mature nowadays, and i think it made me stronger. what doesn't kill you will make you stronger.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

and let them step all over you? Happens once, will happen again. If they try to pull some shit, play the guilt card in the office. Thats messed up that they messed with you about your mom dying and all. Get in their face, tell them what you think. If they want to make it physical, get physical.

I don't know if you have had someone in your family die but its not the easyest thing to get over.
