Plz help on my tool error
it goes like:
building intermediate geometry...
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
file_open('data\levels\nickmap\models\models\nicknackmap.JMS.jms') error 0x00000003 'The system cannot find the path specified. '
any help would be apreciated

Ok that fixed one of the errors but there was a second which i fixed.(i had writen in to many .jms's)
Now i have a huge error that crashes tool
in a new window it says:
Application has gathered an exeption that could not be handled
process id=0xb38(2872), thread id=0xd60(3424).
click OK to terminate application
click CANCEL to debug application
Plz help
I re-did the aplication in tool instead of tool++ and i got a different message:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool structure levels\nickn

if anyone can help with either one that would be great

The shader problem is easily fixed. Just go into 3ds and rename that material that is named material# to the name of the .tif file.
For the degenerate triangles:
If you have HEK installed then all you have to do is go to the start menu, open up Microsoft games, Halo CE, and then HEK tutorial. Go to Level Compilation on the sidebar and scroll to the errors.
