Hey guys, this is the first public release of de_deltatap. This mod is based on the HL2 (Half Life 2) Online game of CS (Counter Strike). Im pretty sure that some of you would of played it and realised how on the custom surf maps there are many teleporters etc.... Well we have tried to recreate that for halo 2. We have made it so you spawn in an armory, you select the weapons that you want, and then well .... off you go to play.

The weapon mods are one of my favourite things about this mod. The Battle Rifle is now an M4 it has been remodelled to look like an M4 by myself (Sorry about the skin trying todo UV Mapping Now), the bullets also have extra damage like the M4's does in CS (Counter Strike). The magnum is going to represent a Deagle (Desert Eagle) however the modelling and skinning is going a bit weird to in this release we have only added more damage to make it more like a deagle. The shotgun is normal and the frag grenades have a 2 second delay before the explode.

Then we get onto the fun part designed by Akri7 Zer0. These are the hidden teleporters, the video that I posted shows you all the teleporters (we are working on giving them some scenery). Akri7 shows a certain route in the video that enables all the teleporters to be filmed, however (obviously) you do not have to use this way any teleporters work jsut use common sense!!!!!! These obviously fully work with non-modders on XBC.

The skin I spent a while on (corrupt this, sh*t that etc....) but I got in done and with a quite impressive output. It has a nice atmostphere sunny bright (it brightens up any bodys day lol). Anyway its a very beachy look with the water and the sand, but hey its nice :P.

Fix the grass, it kinda ruins it and good map it looks smooth.

u may noticed from the "halo photography" topic in pictures forum im working on a CS mod,too.
Actually i got 16 diffrent weapons/models in ^^

keep it up.

i was playing this and after you spawn theres alot of weapns and stuff but there are barriers so u cant get down. you might want to fix that... o wait i found an invisible teleporter.

sweet, yea we were just starting off small. We hae got about 5 - 6 models in because after a while we got lazy, but hey if your doing it great, cant wait to see it, you have already got my download!! :)

VERY nice. Used to Love CS:S hopefully you can make some more cool stuff.

Mb someone should try a spawn room like in Perfect Dark Zero... that would be somewhat unfreakin' beleivable.

Yea, the scenery version should be done soon, watch the video at the top which shows you every teleporter.

Yes please fix the grass it sort of looks like quicksand but the whole teleporting thing was a little boring I would just like to get back into the map and not stay outside of it.

Did you even read the description...... and there are ways to get down inside the map you need to look for it :) Keep up the good work Killershard nice models and skins!

Very nice. I love CS. All I gotta say is, remove the barriers, and give the teleporters some visibility. 7/10. The M4 is pretty nice btw.[/i]

Shouldn't it be fy_deltatap?

Neato...but you should make your own models, or atleast give credit. :?

Also, I'd recommend a total conversion of the weapon models in this case.

Its my own model, promise, I dont even know what turbosquid is?????? Anyway im remodelling loads more weapons now :P

I think they look alot alike because they are both in halo 2 and modeled after the same gun in real life so I think if both of them got close it doesn't mean one person copied the other.
O and BTW nice mod
