well couldnt you tranfer a sp bsp and put them in there? then theyd have paths? or is it more than just the bsp that is needed? anyway so it works for people without mods, right? because my xbox broke.

Wastingbody released an AI mod on Coag where the two guys shoot you. they are on purple team. as in...purple team.

hey man, I'm hosting with the AI patched to my coag, and I enabled MP AI and disable checksom and they ai dont spawn.

Ok, so if this is done, then were is a patch. Or atleast a movie. And great job to everyone who helped.

Edit: I just watched "Snipers in the mist" video and noticed that the "ai" didnt have sheilds(or did they? i could be wrong on that). But will these AI have sheilds and such?

We're still awaiting the real patch that Trulife will be releasing supposedly tonight. he said in a few hours and that was at 7-7:30 its now 10:15 so it should be soon.

so does this work without a trainer?

if not it's still a nice accomplishment but i think the true goal should be to make it so we can play this with no trainer at all. otherwise really there were just some values to change reflexives to fix and scripts to write. what i am trying to say is i think we need a real permanent solution to this so we could actually just inject ai and play like halo 1 and i can already hear what you're going to say "no it's impossible without the trainer" well half the things we have done in h2 in the last year were said to be impossible at that time. so what really makes you think this will be?

can't wait to see what you guys have done with this but like i said if it's not useable without yelo it's just not too practical.

God, this is just incredible. You people who helped make this possible are true geniuses. A couple months ago I could have sworn my life true AI would never be possible, but I guess not.

Now, to squeezing in those BSPs...

yelo doesnt work on my xbox (go to pg 14-16 {about} in the yelo topic and xbox confirms) Please dont need the trainer!!! and it it does...I will personally send xbox $20 to finish the "easy fix" to allow the trainer to work on all xboxs...damn i wish he would fix that

It's impossible without the trainer - there's NO way around that. The XBE is coded only to process AI or bother with the AI Squads reflexive if the game mode is SP. Yelo changes that.

No, its a value in the xbe, if someone finds the value and the correct input value then make a patch to the xbe, it will be so possible.

Oh yeah, that too - but it still needs a modification to the xbe of some sort - there'll never be a way without an xbe hack to do AI in MP.

listen I'm no pro at halo modding but I do know a good amount about trainers.
Trainers are files that edit values in the .xbe file. People use these trainers because hosting a xbe file is illeagal(I think). Also if some one was to use one of the many programs to make and edit trainers then they could find the values used in the yelo trainer and host a torrent(if hosting xbe's are illeagal) of the edited xbe. I say torrent because uploading a xbe to halo mods will be a bad thing(I think).
if anyone else has something to comment please do. And you can release anything you want through torrents

Shadow Lag, you have to either disable or enable the Auto Update too. U do whichever one it doesnt start out on.

If that were the issue, he could just make a .ppf of the xbe... :roll:

yeah so like i said, a way without the trainer is needed, a one time fix for all.
