still couldnt get it to work, the dont spawn wiht me :cry: , yet again i couldnt get my machines to load for my machine mod. maybe im forgeting something for some reason....

OMG! so close!

I just played it and it rocks! we set paths and were off!
They actually shoot you! Rockets follow you! and they never leave you from there sight. Its pretty cool stuff.

i tried to make them spawn in vehicles, and all i got was broken vehicle (warthogs missing wheels) that where drivable... weird

WastingBody, if you use the plugin bit i posted in the last page..you can make yours respawn

Well someone deleted the post before, but if anyone was wondering the script in Wastingbody's patch has nothing to do with spawning the ai, because after you take it out it still works. :D

The spartans with AI doesn move just shoot you.
Just a little thing, when i shoot with a needler and they have a lot fo needles stuck they run...and die... but they run!
I don't know if that can help or if its just a "dying" animation, anyways it something more to know...
I am making tests.

They run because they dont want to blow up on eachother.

Yes, but i noticed too that when the guy with the rocket laucher want to shoot the other spartan crouch.
So that mean that they "think", bu why doesn't they move??

I tried a thing, i changed the masterchief_mp.bipd as a "human"(and not a player) and the elite_mp.bipd as a "covenant" and not a player.

The spartans with ai looks much more agressive, the aim of the spartan with a br is different, he doesn't fail to aim me :roll: and when i am behind a vehicule he drop grenades.
And the other spartan shoot faster with the rocket launcher.

Yea, I'm still trying to figure out how you did it Wastingbody. What have you figured out about the AI Orders Index that we don't know? :)

One day i played gravemind on Legendary on the last part in that big cirkle area, i had 3 Elites standing far away from me. I was too far away for them to attemp an attack, so they just stood there. The thing was, when i hold a needler nothing happened, but when i pulled a sword they took cover. Switching back would make them return from cover etc. etc.

Sounds pretty similar to what you described.

Ok so maybe a problem with distance? i should compare with the same AI on a SP map to see how far he watch to me and shoot.

them shooting u is just the char and styl doing wat they are scripted to do, the crouching is ai because they do not want to shoot each other, but that is still the char and styl tags doing there job. Getting them to shoot is easy u only need to spawn the char. The mager breakthrough he made was spawning them through squads. Problem is they are still lost in this bsp...

just out of curiosity, wat exactly did u do to get them to spawn??? i tried and failed

In the flags of the AI Squad check Bit 12. It took forever to get the right value for that. I also messed around with some other values but I dont think they matter.
