simple question

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

simple question

Post by maxipulhalo2 »

You know how on the xbox, the grass in bloodgulch is very detailed. Well on the pc for me, it is not nearly that detailed. I looked at the bitmap for the grass and it was the very detailed bitmap for the grass that i saw on the xbox, but when I am playing bloodgulch on my pc the grass isnt detailed. Can someone help me get the grass to its detailed version?

try running halo at the highest settings, and if that doesn't work, your video card just isn't great

It's probably your screen resolution. I think the default res for Halo is 640x480... When your monitor can normally run like 1024x768, that 640 screen area is getting stretched... Take one of those ground bitmaps and inlarge it 3x it's original size and you'll get the idea.

100Gunner's got it. If you're gonna want to ever see good looking grass its a new video card for you. Try lookin for one on eBay.com. I got mine there really cheap (GeForce4 128mb) and the grass looks great.
