Edit: if forgot to say that it's a half life(2) level that i recreated the "Killbox", there are so much versions on half life of this map that i made the same but looking a bit different, and i would use weapon gameplay like on hl, halo 1 magnum, sniper,AR and more... but well i am not a pro at modeling if someone could share the model :roll:
I will make a beta, to test the gameplay on syslink for balanced weapons.

ok, i got borred of trying to make a secondary tigger with 2 magazine, impossible!
so i played with shaders and i am loving it!

It is just a cubemap swap.
You should make the visor shader's reference to the masterchiefs main armour bitmap, a reference to a texture with a completely white alpha channel. Then null out the reference to the normal map. Then swap the mirror_surface cubemap reference with masterchief_visor.

Its not just a cube map swap, i used the shotgun "decal" of the fp view to make this shader, yes yes its not really hard but what? what is important is the result :wink:

No, not at all.
It would make the visor be smooth, no black lines, and reflect like the old tech-demos showed.

So no i am not able to make real time reflections like you said, i don't find "masterchief_visor" bitmap.(its a shader name)
And there are many times the masterchief bitmap on the shader.

It's in the single player shared map. Just drag it over with entity, or extract and reinject the meta over another cubemap.
