what does the error say? if it talks about an integer overflow, try uninstalling .net 2.0

the difference is that .net 2.0 throws an exception whenever an integer value becomes greater that it's max value, whereas 1.1 just loops it around ignoring the carry bit.

Are you sure you installed the framework and not the SDK?

are you getting the message application (your program) failed to initialize because of blank blank etc. and its like a two line pop up box and on the second line it says click ok to terminate program. If thats the program your using there is nothing else you can do, uninstalling and reinstalling it wont work but there is a program called H2 Edit that you can use thats good for modding map files, its like dot halo and its fairly simple. You can get h2 edit at halomaps.com

They're the same...

And make sure you download and run this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

That message usually comes up when you haven't.
