Oh yeah, real smart. Go back and learn some maturity, please.

First of all, if you want to insult someone's intelligence, it may help to get your spelling right. Just because some people can't understand the gibberish half of you guys post in, doesn't mean you should call them retarded for actually being literate.

Does he know you posted this Topic, because it's not right.

If you define intelligence as being able to spell right, then by all means continue your argument.

No, but it doesn't give a good impression if it takes someone 5 re-reads to understand exactly WHAT you were trying to say, you have to admit.

Veegie's like me, only better in every way, including the in-your-face attitude... >_<

Also, if you really can't spell, use a spell checker - most give you some correct forms based on your gibberish so you can choose the right word.

Firefox 2 is like word. When you spell a word wrong it underlines it in red. You can right click the word and get the correct spelling.

It's pretty awesome. :D

Spelling isnt a problem. Its only when people leave words out or dont necessarily complete a sentence is when it becomes a problem.

Um, to be honest, if some random guy messaged me on AIM, I probably would act the same half the time...

There's nothing more that I dislike than people on AIM that have no spelling or grammar skills yet expect me to help them or tell them an amazingly simple thing. After 50 such AIM's, you'd think I'd get a little sick of them, yes?

personally, i'm not bugged by litle things like "wat" and "u". although i try to spell right, as long as the spelling isn't horrible and there's decent grammar and punctuation, i'm ok with it. it's when someone makes a wall-of-text post without any punctuation that i point something out. language skills are important, but as long as the message is relatively clear, there's no need to fuss so much.

also, i don't really know why he was banned, but i didn't really know him at all, so whatever. from your guys's descriptions, he seems like the picky intellectual, and i could see how his need for things like correct spelling would get annoying.

No, I didn't mean that and you know it. I mean the words they discombobulate so badly that it takes several attempts before your brain switches out the wrong letters, adds the right ones, fixes it up and you can finally see it.

Exactly. I don't want to take my AIM or MSN down because there are people on these forums I like to talk to, and I'd be happy for them to add me. What I DO have a problem with is people adding me and demanding I teach them everything about modding Halo 2 when I rarely, if EVER, post in the Xbox sections. Why? I DON'T HAVE A FREAKING MODDED XBOX. Then they get all offended when I tell them I don't, and I'm busy, and get lost please. Busy with 2 or 3 forums, 5 conversations with mod team members, family, or friends, and half the time a 3D model or two.
