I need help

Ive been modding for a while and just recently got back into it for some reason when i start up flash fx p and enter the ip and username and password it dosnt let me get on it just says connection failed plz help me with this problem.

Make sure your Computer and Xbox are hooked up properly. Also, you can only connect to your Xbox through FTP is your Xbox is modded. Also, in your Xboxes settings, make sure you have FTP = Yes. Make sure you type in the correct setting when trying to connect to your Xbox (IP Address, ect. [double check]), your Xbox password and username are usually xbox (unless you or someone else changed them). Check your Xboxes setting.

Also, make sure when you try to connect to your Xbox, you have no games or anything currently running on it (make sure it's at the main dash).

yeah dude its all good it just wont connect idk why

EDIT: Now it sats my ip is 0.0.0.0

When it says your IP is 0.0.0.0 it means that the cable is not connected to the back of your Xbox (that blue cable, DNS cable or crossover cable or whatever it's called).

Ethernet cable, or a more technical term RJ-45. and Make sure everything is plugged in, sometimes xboxs don't do a good job of locking in the network cable or if that doesn't work, try another cable.

I believe you need a crossover cable though if you try to connect just between the pc and the xbox without a router, you don't need a crossover if you do use a router.
