Ok....
1. How do I change how the proj looks? Like skinning the proj. The projectiles arent in bitm.
2. In containment outside the map its white and really bright. I skinned that to look like yellow sand but its still really bright. How would I make it look like normal? Does that have to do with the lightmap?

you can't edit models in photoshop you need milkshape 3d, you can't make a weapon see through in photoshop, try playing with shaders, they're fun! To just get the outside dark require some pain staking hex I think, I don't know how to do it but someone else may. to change the color I belive would be contrail modding, try to find a plugin for it. and I hope its ok that I'm using that quote in my sig.

ok. yeah thats fine. Heres exactly what I want to do. I want a see trhough brute plasma rifle that has the red orb glow inside, then i want to change its projectile so its yellow.
edit: Im not just going to play around with the shaders.... I have no idea where to start. maybe give me some direction???

to make clearish weapons just swap the shaders with something like sentil_illum which if you replace every shader for the gun it will be a clear deep red...anything that ends in illum is see through but colored. the beam rifle shader is like a blueish shade, flak cannon is a clear green, ive seen others but you just gotta find em yourself
