Photoshop texture help
Take for example the grass for blood gulch. How would i change the color but keep the details in the grass. Plz explain in detail.

well this is in the wrong forum but..
what you could do it press control U then change the hue. or make a new layer and do what you want then turn down the opacity.

Lol, it's not that confusing.
First Method (harder, yet not hard either)
Go to Image/Adjustments/...Hue/Saturation
The put a check in the "Colorize" radio box.
Now adjust the sliders so that you change it's colors and shit. The first slider will change the color, the other two change it's brightness and saturation.
Now hit "OK" and you're done.
Second Method (easier, less control)
Create a new layer over the grass layer.
Fill that layer (Shift+Delete 'PS7' or Shift+F5 'PS8') with the color you want the grass to be.
Now, with that colored layer selected, change it's layer mode to Color.
That's it, that method is easier, but to get as close to the exact color you're wanting, you gotta know your colors and how they effect other colors.
