Transfering Halo 2 maps into Halo CE?

How do you transfer Halo 2 maps like Lockout into Halo CE?

You don't...
Halo 2 and Halo CE maps are in completely different formats, sure they work in pretty much the same way, but you can't just take a Halo 2 map and import it (or even convert it) to a Halo CE map.

Then how come Coagulation is a map for Halo CE?

It's a custom map.
It was hand made to look exactly like the Halo 2 map.
Same for all the other ones.

It was not custom. Coag was ripped from Halo 2.

No, it wasn't.
The sounds were, and they had full permission to do so with them.
The BSP is custom.

...no. h2_coagulation was ripped completly, sounds, textures, models, everything.

and booper converting maps to ce is illegal....

CMT made the map. I am on CMT. So I do know what I am talking about. We were origionally going to use custom content. I even had the base all modeled out. Then I saw someone on the files forum here at halomods had extracted bsps from H2. I linked Masters to the thread that the guy(forget who it was) posted the renders in, and then we ditched the custom and decided to go with ripped content. Trust me, I am right :wink:

If that's the case, is there any chance of Lockout coming to Halo 1 Xbox anytime soon?
