Alright...
Firefox == 7 characters
Internet Explorer == 16 characters

Disregarding the fact that Internet Explorer is often referred to as IE, and Firefox is always Firefox, Internet Explorer has more than double the characters, narrowing the search exponentially.

I like the signature though, <3 Firefox 2 Beta.

You must not've put it in quotes. "firefox rules" returns a different number than firefox rules(when you put something in quotes, it searches for the words in that order only)

it doesn't matter how you pronounce it, firefox > internet explorer. as a prime example, back during the WMF 0-day thing (for those of you that missed it, a bug in window's graphics engine allowed a picture to run arbitrary code. definitely NOT a good thing) internet explorer wouldn't protect you at all because it doesn't ask you before you download/run something, unlike firefox.

Great idea.

EDIT: if it was made in Paint, how did you get the transparency?

Agreed. It now has the ability to add tabs even easier than Firefox, and it just runs much better now.

To each his own. There are plenty of good browsers out there, Firefox, Opera etc.
Although I wouldn't consider IE one of them. Interface aside, it's just too vulnerable.

Does IE7 have 50 kajillion extensions which can enhance it's capabilities beyond all reason? No.

Therefore, no contest. Firefox totally pwns IE, no matter what version.

The only thing that would bring me even close to using IE regularly is if were to start supporting Firefox extensions somehow. And that would be extremely sick and wrong on so many levels.

With IE7 do you have the ability to set your browser so that you never see banner ads?

With IE7, can you set it so each tab appears in a different color?

With IE7, do you have a web developing toolbar which allows you to disable javascript with a single click(or two)?

With IE7, do you have the ability to click, drag, and resize textareas?

With IE7, do you have the ability to easily edit your cookies(useful for "hacking" some forums, sites, etc)?*

With IE7 do you have a little color picker tool that can be dragged over a webpage and copy the color in hex to the clipboard?

With IE7 do you have a handy dandy extension which allows you to mass upload pics to imageshack, without any credits?

With IE7 can you use a developing toolbar to get in and edit form items with the "hidden" attribute(useful for "hacking" some forums and sites)?

With IE7 can you do a whole bunch of things that I can't remember because I'm not at my computer right now so I don't have my list of extensions to look at while typing this?

*With this cookie editor, I can also set certain sites to "remember me", even when they normally wouldn't.

Yes but 99% of those extensions are complete crap. The other 1% should have been in the program to begin with.

I for one dislike both FireFox and IE. I'm not saying this because I'm a mac user, I just simply like Safari the most. It has everything I have in a reliable package and never fails me. I cannot say the same for FireFox (and yes, I've used both the PC and Mac versions of it).

Ew, I've used safari on the school macs only to download the mac version of firefox, its so clunky and not nice and clean and fast like firefox.

My list of extensions.

Forecastfox - gives me weather updates, extremely useful
Adblock - extremely useful
Mouse gestures - the single most useful FF extension ever
Foxytunes - In-browser control of music players like WMP, iTunes and winamp
Flashgot - Mass downloader plugin for download managers like flashget
Fasterfox - optimizes browser speed
IETab - another really useful extension, makes it so I never have to even touch IE, it just renders it in the FF environment

Ever since I switched about a year ago, I never thought about going back to it. The only time I ever touch ie is to download firefox after my computer gets reimaged.
Inappropriate signature content.

same here. i use firefox for everything. i don't really have too many extensions though, just live http headers, and i change the useragent as i need (go to "about:config", add variable named general.useragent.override and give it a string vlue of your desired useragent. then delete it when your done)
