Does anyone have a tut on lightmaping i think thats what its called or making the map look like night?

See i dont want to change the color i just want to make it darker and i tryed just lowering the lightness and didnt work.

I would just keep lowering it. The tool does work, and brightness is the right setting. Keep trying it.
