Box art is probably the last thing on the list before shipment, it's completely stupid to even begin to believe anything you see concerning Halo 3. If Bungie didn't show it, it's fake.

True...and actually, that image they have up on the site would make a pretty awesome collector's edition cover...after all, that's all Halo 2's was.

Kind of offtopic from what was being discussed to, but the mention of that specific Halo 2 Master Chief kind of suggests that the Halo 3 MC has some serious changing to do also. That Halo 2 MC and the actual Halo 2 MC were a bit different... that means that there's a good chance the Halo 3 MC will not look like that (well obviously, but more than you'd think at first.) Or not. Just speculation based on past events.

Uh, yeah. I don't think they're going to do the same image (except a 3 instead of a 2) as a collectors edition, unless they wanted them all to be similar (collectors edition for Halo 1 coming?
