Character Map

Ok, theres this really cool tool that shows you all the characters a font can make, and I need to find the root to it. I accidentially moved it from system tools to the start menu in an alternate account on my Windows, then deleted that account, but checked the "Save Files" box when I did. So Im digging through the remnants of that account looking for it, and its a no show. Search Brought up no hits either. any ideas?

I think that the 'save-files' option when deleting a user acount only saves what is on the desktop, but unless it was in the account's other documents (i.e. the 'My Documents' folder for that account), then it should still be around. I'm not sure though.

Yeah Its not there, Is there a deeper root path than just that? in the WINDOWS folders or deeper within?

Try searching again but making sure that its searching the windows directories, I think it would not by defualt. btw heres the location of mine, which may be useful %SystemRoot%\system32\charmap.exe

if you have a windows disk put it in you cd drive and install additional programs...
