[Halo 2] Model Injection with UV's

Post by PyroBlizzard »

Okay i have followed trepdimeflous tutorial on uv maps and everything but i cant seem to get the model to inject. The model worked through milkshape, but it doesnt work through 3d max with uv's. The file size of it is 50 kb smaller so i dont know what i am doing wrong.

Heres a pic of my model:

Any help would be great thanx.

3ds max is funky when you try to inject models. After you UV map, export the model. Then import it into milkshape. DONT TOUCH ANYTHING. All you have to do is export the .obj and now you can inject. The UVs should be fine. Also, dont forget to either verticle flip the UVs, or verticly flip the skin. Have fun!

I just use Darkmatter's model viewer and just fix the skin the check. Kinda like trial and error. Just do what KKC said and just internalize the bitmap your going to inject your skin over...like the weapon you're replacing with this weapon.

Entity's model viewer shows the same as Darkmatter now. But, I will not question you. :P

Edit: fine pyro, you win. :(

Yea but you have to find the weapon in the viewer.
