Ford Warthog RS

Post by Geo »

Ford Warthog RS

Here's my first Warthog skin, please don't flame too much, any constructive criticism would be greatly apreciated.

It's based on the Ford Focus RS street car, I will be making a rally version soon. The skin is DXT5 to make it more street-car-like.

Here's some pictures!

Sorry about the compression, having problems with my image hoster!

The download is a .serenity!

And credit goes to Monkey Terd as the rims are from his Turf StreetHog...

Look out for this skin later on... you never know where it might pop up

That looks, very cool, nice to see some people putting effort into their vehicle skins lately. 9/10, only because the rims you used suck. ( :P )

And next time you skin a hog, I would suggest taking pics on Turf or Terminal, the hog just tends to stand out a bit more.

Yeah, I wanted to do it on Terminal but I only had room on my HDD for one map, and didn't have the time to muck about changing maps etc.

I will do the next one in Turf, where you'd typically find a streetcar.

Nice warthog, btw i dont think it really counts as a bump seeing as the topic was only half way down the page, even less actually.

Man, i'm not gonna be able to model one, but I can make a skin based on it, altho it would be kinda plain, as it's just silver...

I'll give it a go, the only problem I see at the moment is because you only get to skin one side of the vehicle, the other side is copied on, so it'll mean the vinyls will be back to front, or mirrored, which would suck, unless anyone knows a way around this?

Well, the vinyls are usually mirrored on real cars anyways so..its not that big of an inconvenience.
