eh, if i had yto guess i would say (based on the lack of detail on your weapon) you are using an onboard graphics card. IE: a crummy one. that could be the cause of the greenness

The only green elites in Halo, are the ones with modified skins.

thats just the blue lights from the energy sword that hits (not like hurting hitting) the elite's golden armour to make it look green. since gold is like yellow and yellow+blue=green or gold+blue=green kinda. I dont know im just guessing.
