-Post Your Handdrawn Work!-

Post by Lowallyn »

I'm sort of new to the cafe section; and to the user forum in general but I thought it would be nice to see what people can do at home other than what's on their computer.

Submission Rules:
  • ::Must be your own work.::
    ... Duh

    ::Drawing must be done in Ink, (yes, pen is considered ink)
    Paint, Pastel, Charcoal, and Crayon/Chalk::
    Basically anything that will go on paper.
    Pencil is allowed, but you should outline your drawing in ink.

    ::Must be in compliance with HaloMods User Forum Rules and
    the Cafe's Rules
    (eg. no offensive content, etc.)::

    ::Compliment, Provide Constructive Criticism, Ooo, Aah,
    but DO NOT Flame or Provide Offensive Sarcasm such as
    "You know my cousin drew something like that once!
    btw he's three and a half now.."::

    It's probably better than anything you have ever done anyway!

    ::If your image is big and you don't want to resize it post a link to it.
    Posted images that are too big will be removed (lol obviously not by me)
    To host an image either register at Photobucket
    or Image Shack::

    If you choose Image Shack please note that you don't have to make
    the image link back to image shack. :wink:

I would start us off, but I am not at home right now, so hopefully someone else has something to post.. and hopefully this doesnt get locked for whatever reason.....

[wish]then again maybe it will be stickied and i'll be promoted[/wish]

That's cool! Needs a bit more detail, but it's cool.

thats the idea :wink:

lol but i can be quite the artist myself; i wish i had done this sooner i throw away a lot of my stuff
plus this will encourage me to draw more which i like to do

But really if you have a pencil sketch, get a flowing ink pen and outline it, i used to hate using pens but now ive gotten the hang of it

btw how was my first post? pretty proffesional looking right? :P

EDIT: nice sketch would be cool if you silhouetted it

oh lol and you might be needing this

and i am in Norway. FOR NOW. :twisted:

do you have a dig camera? theres a setting that looks like a flower for taking things closeup so if you practice you can get it like a scanner. Or you could just get a scanner.

Dad has a scanner, but he never lets me use it. And digital camera photos of drawings tend to fail.

I'll see what I can do.

Wow...
I said Wow after I read this. If I hadn't read other posts you've made, I'd think this was translated into english online.

It's a bird!
Wearing a hat.
I think.
I originally got bored and scribbled on the page, then traced a bird from the scribbled mess... A bird with a hat. I think it was in pencil, and then I manipulated it so it looked like pen, and took out the stray scribbles but it got kind of grainy. =/
I've got a big box full of drawings, but this is the only one I've scanned in. Weird. I've got a ton of CG stuff though ;__;. Needs more CG art topic.

I missed two words and one letter..
I was half asleep and my computer was running slow, what do you expect from an '02 Lenovo?
"Am I the only one that is going to post something?"
Happy now?
*checks time of post*
Um, yeah, it was early in the morning, I probably just woke up when I posted that.

I'm proficient with Photoshop, I paint some miniatures (Warhammer/40k), but that is the extent of my artistic ability. I couldn't draw to save my life.
