Trouble burning games to a CD

Okay, I used Qwix to turn my halo CE, put in its proper folder hierarchy, into an ISO. Then I opened up Nero, put my CD-R in the CD writer drive i have, and told it to burn my ISO to the CD, and I even told it to verify the contents. But my xbox won't even recognize the CD.

Now, what is the problem? Am I supposed to use a DVD? or did I burn the files to my disc wrong?

combat evolved. not custom edition. for future reference, ill specify halo PC if im talking about it, since i rarely do.

It won't recognixe it because:

1. Your Xbox probably isn't modded. (If it is than its because of the second reason)

2. You're trying to play a PC game on an Xbox.

okay. let me spell this out for you. I AM NOT PLAYING HALO PC. I AM PLAYING HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED FOR THE XBOX CONSOLE!

my xbox is indeed modded, and i am trying to play an xbox game on my xbox.

so why doesnt it work?

got like..5 hours of sleep..

I don't know. Try putting it in the drive, going into your File Explorer, and finding the default.xbe and running that.

thanks for the advice. it didnt work

i copied the actual iso file i made to e/games, and the xbox doesnt recognize it.

btw, the folder hieracrchy and all the files are correctly placed. im confused as far as the iso goes.

my next question is...is it possible to burn an xbox game on a CD-R, if theres enough room?

heres how i made mine (it was halo 2 but i assume you know wat to do)
part 1
get folders:
Bink
Maps
Media
files:
Default.xbe
part 2
burn those things on a disc
part 3
put in xbox and play

no iso required
(when i burn the disc with an iso on it it doesnt work)
and cds are to small

Use a DVD.
CD's are much too small.

What is the average size of the disc/dvd in MB?

I have about 30 CDRs that can hold up to 703 MB. <<<Is that good?

A standard DVD can hold 4.7gb, roughly 4800mb.

eh. its just 1 GB is roughly 1000 MB. so i figured 4.7 GB is roughly 4700 MB. thats why it made me laugh lol

alright, i see. sorry. well, ill put it this way. if i saw 4.7 GB, id expect to see 4700 MB. so its good that im getting a little more. but sorry for my blatent ignorance
