Closed Port

My ignorant grandmother closed port 21 to my Xbox, how can I reopen it?

1) Slap grandmother.
2) Yell at the top of your lungs, "I'm the juggernaut b*tch!"
3) Turn on your Xbox and change what port you use in the file settings.
4) Use that port in FlashFXP, or whatever FTP client you're using.
5) Repeat steps 1, and 2.

How can I find an open port without going through the list, starting with 1
