my top bar on 3ds max is missing! how do i get it back!!!

try looking under the menutab customize -> show ui -> and i personally have
command panel
main toolbar
trackbar

well i did something else and it came back but now its being gay- the gfx arent what i had last time - with the selct and move, the arrows and red blue and green

Press F2, you went into expert mode by mistake.

Either he payed the money (unlikely), or he's using the trial (likely).

to get the colored arrows to come back, i think it's control x, but check the hotkey map to be sure.

Also i think there is a hotkey for turning off that top toolbar, which is probably what you did on accident in the first place
