im not sure if this is on here already, and if so if its there many times, but over the period of 3 days i have failed to find it. I need to fix my problem. When i try to play split screen (or system link i assume) on my Halo 2 with Killtrocity Map Pack, i get the You Failed To Load The Map message everytime. Now here is what i have:
Killtrocity Map Pack in the MAPS folder.
Original Maps are not present (important or not?)
I changed the default.xbe file as follows
i searched for t:\$u\ (because i couldnt undetrstand what 0x40D2CC (DEC=4248268) meant) and i got there results, i changed each U to a W.
now that ive done all that, i still get the same error message.
Is there something im missing or sumthing i need.. or is this.. ok i have no idea? thats why im asking. Please inform me, sorry for the not so educated me, im just trying to mae this work and learn from there.

well that didnt work yet..
so i changed that folder name.. but it still says You Failed To Load The Map... hmm ill try some more configurations, thnaks for the reply though.
well nothnig seems to work.. so basically im back where i started, now that folder is set to
E:/TDATA/4d5300064/$y
and the xbe is all hex edited and such, but it still won't work off the DVD or the HDD.. any ideas?
IN CASE IT MATTERS:
this is my set up on my HDD as well as the DVD
E:/Games
/Halo 2
/MAPS
/FONTS
/MEDIA
Default.xbe
i removed some fonts of languages i did not ened (as indicated in Balugabutt's game deletions) and i deleted the other dash update and such files, is this a problem.. as well as the BINK??
sorry for the constant question but i dont understand the problem.

It should be like this:
Halo 2 Folder:
Maps Folder:
Fonts Folder
*All your Killtrocity Maps and Stuff (make sure you patched the mainmenu right and took off your AU*
Default.xbe
Bold = Parent Folder
Italics = Subfolder
If it still don't work than try getting your clean xbe and just rename the $u folder everytime.

hmm
what does it mean to take off your AU?? i patched the menu correctly.. do i need to sign the maps any specific way? i just let the thing do its thing and assumed it was all done?
