I published ScottyGEEs story today. Had to do some editing and screenshot stuff, but its up. Its a bit short... but you can expect longer ones in the future. That's basically what I want you guys as editors to do. If you think you can handle it, just say so and I'll give you a test review for you to do. If its good, you're in. Scottys in now... I'll see if we get an editors forum and usergroup set up for you guys now. Theycallmechad, I'll get you a mod to review too... just give me a bit.

I'd be interested in writing reviews for applications, I'd have no problem reviewing both commercial applications as well as user created ones. If not, mods work just fine for me.

Yes, it is a bit short, but that was because Kirk said it should be a short sample review to be abel to become an editor.

So let me get this straight (Since I havnt been able to contact you) will we be making reviews and interviews on our own? Or will it be that you tell us what to review/interview?

Man nobody got what I said... I meant actually post something here that is short to get a better example before someone tells you to make a long one. Doesn't necessarily have to be a real review on a real mod.

But meh, I'm not even really running this so don't listen to me. Listen to Excal.

here is example:

Mcdonalds mod:
Have you ever been to mcdonalds and had the #9? Well today is your lucky day. Today you can play a mod for halo 2 which involves mcdonalds in every way possible! You can come home from mcdonalds and play a game that involves what you are eating! Even if you dont have mcdonalds, it will make you want mcdonalds!

I'll be giving out the mods and apps to review. You can suggest your own ofcourse... and 99% of the time if it isnt a stupid mod I'll let you review it. Like I said, I'm gonna try to set up an Editor-only forum for the editors and an editors usergroup.

Hey, I've been thinking about this and well, I persuaded my parents to give my xbox back for a while. So for now I can do Halo 2 reviews.
So Excal could you give me a halo 2 mod to review? As long as it isn't in ascension or coagulation I can handle it. (My disc broke and I forgot to back up these 2 maps)

Be sure to include screenshots... and they have to longer than SocttyGEEs review. If you're going to review one of those mods, call it out so there aren't any duplicates.

Alright. You guys do that. Remember, make sure its high quality... because this will determine if you get accepted as a HM Editor or not. For reference, you might want to check out sites like IGN and Gamespot and see how they do game reviews.

I won't be able to do a review for a few days. My in-laws are here visiting and I don't have access to mu computer/xbox on a regular basis. I'll review one hopefully by Tuesday.

Any upcoming BETA mods for me to review? I'd like them to be mostly done, if at all possible. Otherwise, I'll do any mod assigned.
