Yeah, BUNGIE EMPLOYEES! Bungie is only a small (relatively) company. Ninja 0n Fire does all the Playlist updates and so he knows exactly what the commuity like to play so he can pass that on to the developers of the MultiPlayer side of H3.

yea that's true. I forgot who, I think monkey terd, gave me the intructions to put ai's in mp. however due to the the lack of information from the scnr tag it is impossible.]i h8 when my posts are ignored, for the last time, ai is not in the bsp! It's in the scnr, we already know how to put ai into mp[ but at this moment it's not possible, sheez
and as for the people at bungie. I didn't know that I guess I'll pay attention to who is who from now on.

i like it, i had an idea like this a while ago but just never bothered to do it cause i never mod SP so i thought i might not have enough know how, however you make it look real easy, good job.
kinda reminds me of a survival mode, would be cool if they respawned over and over, if you put it on legendary can you get the skull? if so that would be cool too, isnt quarantine zone the one with the sputnik skull too? imagen having the skull and just launching rockets at your enemies and watching them just fly across the map!

no, AI is in the BSP, a major part of it. The navigation paths and walkable surfaces are in the SBSP. If you dont have navigation paths in the BSP of a map, they wont move until they can see you..because then their internal commands are activated to attack you, which is just a script.
So your part right, AI is part in the scnr, but the more important part is in the SBSP.
And pretty much AI in MP is possible if we can figure out the SBSP how to work it.

AI in MP has never really been too kool an idea to me. Hehe, I did try a few ewxperiments AGES ago whe I did have some interest but I see no point in it.
However, having singe player mods on multiplayer based maps would be really quite fun if done properly. There are alot of options to be utilised with this and I hope someone takes the time to do it...Yes, even trulife.........

The navigation mesh and static world objects may be in the structure bsp, but that doesn't mean there are AI in the structure bsp. Its the stupidest way of trying to pull a techniqality I've ever seen tbh. The AI use those resources, but they do that with tons of things. The most useful information about any AI for a specific map will be in the scenario (aside from the ai specific tags that don't generally change b/w each map). The structure bsp won't have anything real improtant for adding basic AI into a map that has it none. The navigation data is built no matter what.
You'd have to modify the XBE, or just wait for project yellow for halo2 xbox to get the AI to actually do anything if they exist in a MP map, which I'm sure as been stated before in this topic somewhere.

sword can be changed with entity in the scnr tag, its the indent primary weapon
i can only get flood to attack, because they are the only ones that can without a weapon. however if u make the bipd spawn with a weapon thta could work, give it a shot
the guy that was talking about the ai in the bsp, unfortunatly was more right then we though. i spawnd the flood elites the same way as i did in coag, but in the original bsp, and they were a hell of alot smarter. they would fallow and jump at me from far away
