Since its just a bsp that has been taken over and considering what "AI editors" do is just change the spawn count, characteristics and placement then if you were to take the time to place each AI spawn in the one area then yes you could have the AI in the coagulation and then play some co-op :P. It'd kinda suck though, are there any respawning characteristics in halo2?

Oooh I remember...There is, TheTyckoMan's halloween mod featured dead guys respawning as flood (Am I right?) But instead of changing the characteristics etc to a flood, you could just reference the respawning thing to the same AI guy and thus create chainspawning that will lag the hell out of your map and they will eventually take over you and you will die!

If your that dedicated then I <3 you and I'll play the mod...
The movement of the Ai shouldnt be hard and stuff but the respawning thing most likley will be.

edit: Just remembered you said it was on tutorial.map...I dont think there are any/many enimies there...Try a different map :P

edit2: You;d also have to learn to put respawning weapons in the same placements on the ground...And since SP doesnt have itmc's then GLGL :P

lol, i tried other maps, and i got one to kinda work, but u spawn dead, and don't respawn, it just stays there, i'll be putting it in the main post in a minute, along with a vid

And you mean you converted tutorial.map to coagulation.map or tut.map to coag.map?
AI- artaficial intelegence (i dont know if i spelled the a part right)

but anyway its like a robot its programed to do anything like a hum,an like you said run around and talk but they shoot their weapons at you and all that

It seems that if this was for another level, It might work. the only problem is that the others have more than 1 BSP and it probably wont work. I tried to do this on metropolis when this first came out. It even worked in the bsp viewer, but it kicked me back to the menu...

if u join co-op on floodzone (quarintine zone i think) then you will spawn, so i got a level with ai, mrines elites and flood, but idk how to spawn them, i tried, but no luck

i h8 to end this ai conversation but in no way is this ai. We already figured out how to spawn ai but cannot do it right now because the char relex and style re3flex is not in the scnr of any mp map so as of now we cannot do it.
Ai characters are spawned in the form of char's and have a link to it's style (ai style) and it's biped. If you try and spawn a char in a mp map it will freeze. If you manage to somehow get those reflexs over and allow them to work properly you will have ai.
Your sig can't exceed 500x120 in size.

PICS. sorry for the black at the bottom. but im in a rush. I dont know about some of you guys but i think this is really big.I know its not the real thing but the point is I just killed flood in containment. I think thats really good and I think we should have some of those big modders look at this and try to make something really exciting

The thing is your still playing in Campagin. What people are looking for it AI in MULTIplayer.

Yeah I agree. Its somewhat cool but I want to play AI in actual MP. Nice job on doing everything for this though.

I agree I would rather have AI in multiplayer. But that might not even be possible so this is better than nothing oh well. I did manage to get Human Flood to spawn instead. It was probably the easiest thing I've ever done. again, Im terribly sorry for the black at the bottom

yea i did that, but the thing is they are realy dumb

when i first thought of doing this, people told me it wouldn't work cuz ai was imbedded in the sbsp, i've proved that wrong, so weather this is wat people want or not, i have made prigress in making ai in mp

either way, playing backwash with working flood, would be kickass and none of u can deny it

AI paths are imbedded in the BSP..im sure these guys dont move in paths until you are visable to them right? because they can see you so they ingage you, as their engage and such commands are not imbedded in the SBSP, only their paths and walkable areas. But srsly, good job on this..although it isnt AI in MP, it is AI in a multiplayer BSP, somehwat just as fun. However, those that think AI in MP is as simple as adding in hte chars and styls into the map and editin the SBSP, close, but not that simple.
