ok, i managed to do mp-sp conversion of tutorial.map to coag this is exiting for me, and its beyond me but i'm sure some of u experienced modders can expand on this

i'm thinking ai

none can be seen right now, but there unit dialog and stuff can be herd, please leave comments on this, i wanna know if i got somthin.

i do not want compliments, i did this on accident

edit: i got floodzone to work, and i used containment. if u spawn single playered, u won't spawn, co-op and u will, i'll have a vid shortly, but i filmed it b4 i realised u won't spawn unless its co-op

Ok the floodzone pach now officialy has working ai. all u have to do is fire the carbin, and kill the flood carrior

now if u want any other ai, open the carrior bipd in insolence, swich to dev mod, and all dependencies. now chande that to an elite. sighn and play. now shoot of its arms, when u do that it will turn into a flood infection and revive other dead flood

i got a squad to spawn in coag where the rocket belongs... but its a bsp conversion, its coags bsp in cario station

so what your trying to say is you can heard talking but can't see it I'm not a experienced modder but I think AI is where you could see them walking around and talking then I think that would be AI but I am not a 100% sure ask or wait for someone more experienced to post

And you mean you converted tutorial.map to coagulation.map or tut.map to coag.map?

nice work, i was trying to get midship into SP, if you edit the AI spawns to be in the Map area...you can have AI in the BSP

honestly i think its just scripted sounds ment to go off at a certian time... no ai in the mix UNFOURTUNATELY... i wish it was this easy but AI in MP prolly requires .xbe editing...

Well AI isn't easy, its not like you get 5 nerds, coke-a-cola, and a bunch of computers and 2 days later theres AI. Its more like 50 Nerds, Cocaine, and Supercomputers, then 2 weeks later you get AI.

wat i'm saying is this has all the stuff in the globals and scnr that make ai. i think an experienced modder can make it happen, jut maybe not on this map

and the .xbe thing we might need to do, but for the ai in mp, this is ai in sp

i think it is ai dialog, cuz he says stuff when u do certain things, like jump around

o rly now?? sorry i musta read it wrong..thats not too shabby... u say its scripted to go off at certian points? thats could be useful to mabey make an AI do a certain event when u first act on something... like if u move itll activate it and then attack or such sorry bad comparison...

look, heres all you have to do.. Open Coord Finder, find some coords inside Coag...go into the AI Squads reflexive and edit their spawn points..since this is MP-SP, this will work...as it isnt real MP

the thing is that the reason this worked was that this level only had one bsp... i think

if the reflexive is in there, you can add a few chunks into the squad reflexive and make a few squads appear.

If not, keep trying on another map, i got lockout onto Cairo once, but there was too many nugs with it.. (yet the map actually loaded when i tried it..instead of the usual xbox freeze)

I highly doubt this has any AI in it, Only because you said it was an SP to MP conversion, meaning no matter what you would need to find out how to run scripts in a MP type game, Which you cant do on "accident"

I'm surprised someone actually did a MP->SP conversion. I was planning to do one with... ugh, on second though I'm not going to spill all my details as I think I might do the project sooner or later.

I like the idea of playing Coag, and there could be enemy wraiths shooting at you from the other base, and maybe some sentinels flying around. (Coag was not the project I was thinking of myself doing).

I would give anything to play Coag and have elites chasing. but since its still in single player that would probably mean you couldnt do any sweet movies. Just you and a friend in Co-op

ok, i tried cariostation, but all that happened was the video loaded, but it only had the sky and claping, then when it was almost over, it swiched back to the main menu
