Airstrike?

Airstrike?

can someone direct to me to a good tutorial on how to make an airstrike. im wroking on one of my first mods and i want to make the rocket launcher shoot an airstrike that rains sticky nades that cover almost the whole map. if u cood explain to me how to do this or have a tuturial that would allow me to do this, i would appreciate it :)

Go to the weap tag and go to the Rocket launcher. In the dependency window change the first proj to the sticky nades. Then in the tag editor change minimum and maximum spread to big numbers. Then change the Z cord to like 12. Then go to the proj tag and click the sticky nade and change its Initial and Final Speed, I think it's speed it may be velocity, you'll know when you see it, to 12. For the raining part go back to the weap tag and click the Rocket launcher and change the Number of Projectiles to say...50. Then at the bottom change the Shots per burst to 50 as well.

thanks man i'll try that out. i was so confused cuz i changed the z cord before to 50 and shot thr rocket launcher and it worked fine. many rockets fell from the sky. but then i swapped the proj to stickies and it screwed up. w.e please watch out for my next post or see u on aim or sumthin. thank you for your help :)

terribly sorry for the double post :( but mr. ball helped me sooooo much and im grateful except for the part where he said "type in a big number." hmmm.... well i was wondering wut wood be an appropraite min and max spread number to get the rocket launcher to shoot stickies covering ALMOST the entire map (doesnt have to be perfect) but also making sure theres only one or two the dont land on the map

Ok well this is what I came up with on values. All of these values come from the Rocket Launchers weap tag in the Tag Editor.

^^In the top part of the Tag Editor window.

^^In the bottom area of the tag editor with Projectile 0 selected.

After those values were put in I got this result, shooting from the very top of the map, where you can super jump to. Also there are way more nades than this.

This was just a picture I thought looked cool, it's what happens when you shoot the RL.

Now you can change any of those values to whatever you liked I just though those up there worked out well.
