Itunes problem.

i have been using itunes for a few years now. but recently the thing has been started to skip on my songs. they were imported fine, with no skipping, and some of the CD's were brand new, and this skipping is causing my computer to lag.

so if u have an idea, could u plz post something. im about to choot my comp.

skipping as in it's not playing certain songs on the playlist?
or
skipping as in it's skipping parts of songs?

I think the computer lagging is causing it to skip, not the other way around. Check your running processes, is there anything sucking alot of memory?

the songs are skipping, causing the computer to skip.

Tural could be right though, not enough memory. though i usually only have like 2 or 3 things up that i use. Mozilla, Itunes and a game or not.

the thing using most memory is Mozilla,. 28,240k - i usually have that up though.

the CPU usage is cjumping around. from like 2%-8% Processes:43

i am not a computer person, so i have no idea what this means...
