help with dothalo, and getting mods to your xbox

Post by mato »

sup yall! i finally got a connect established with my xbox and computer and got a modded dashboard. My problem is not getting mods to my computer(sry for misleading title.didnt know what to call it  ) but to actually get the mods to work! most of the time it will say failed to load map, but 1 or 2 times it froze. when i look back in my files, i have 4 turfs!(or what ever map i'm modding) i try to delete em, but it says make sure you have permission  .also when i use dot halo, i'll make small changes(ex. make rockets or plasma granades come out of an smg or make the sword a dual wield) and this problem(frezzing or failing to load) happens. please guy help me. ty :D

specs
dashboard: Evox
connection: xbox to router witch goes to computer and modem witch goes to internet.

Make sure to resign the maps. Also just add them to your main-menu, you will need Halo 2 on your HDD to do it. That way you can have four different Turf mods.

Well if you don't add them to your main menu then that means you are TDATA modding which isn't a good thing because it used to mod on XBL. Also yes it is just your Hard Drive. Put halo 2 in your E-games folder. To do that put halo 2 in your xbox disc drive and FTP and get everything in the D drive and put it in a folder on your computer called halo 2. Then open the maps folder on your computer in the halo 2 folder and delete all the campaign maps, the ones with numbers in front like 03a_oldmombasa. Then drag the halo 2 folder into E-games. If you don't have a games folder on your xbox just make one. Also what do you mean by you can't download it? Like actually can't download it or it won't open?
