Draco orbitting around GruntMaps logo

Post by FleetAdmiralBacon »

Well, I've been working on my little Draco animation. It now smoothly orbits around the GruntMaps logo.
You may want to refresh.

Wow, someone managed to use an animated sig that is still under the filesize limit. Kudos.

What rule did I break?
According to this:
http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=40213
I fit all regulations
Width: 420 (Max: 500)
Height: 120 (Max: 120)
File size: 32Kb (Max: 75Kb)

the only reason it was possible, is the fact that it is on a black canvas. the sig is fairly plain, so, in turn, the filesize is fairly low.

You hit the nail on the head.
I tried a few other things, but they didn't work too well. My other Draco sig was much smaller and much fewer frames but barely made it because of all the color.

True, I actually have an animated sig I made that is 1kb.

mines no bigger than the original >_> but I kinda like it, but the black background, even though its a great way to keep the filesize down, severely reduces the depth of it.
