Games that are SLC (system link compatible)

Post by DaShogun »

When a map is SLC (system link compatible), does that mean that the person I'm playing with (say playing on XBC or system link) would need the same exact modded map I have in order to see the modifications, or could they use the stock/retail map that came with the Halo 2 game CD in order to see everything I see (weapons, skins, weapon effects).

Well, if you didn't add anything to the map and you play it with someone with a normal map, they will see some stuff happen, but I don't think they will see the effects or skins.

System Link Compatible means you can play it on system link, it does not mean the other person will see the mods.
