ok im not sure if this has been answered but it looks like this could be used on a non modded xbox. is it possible to run on a non mod xbox?

I don't actually own a copy of the Multiplayer Map Pack. Is it possible to use the downloaded version from xbox live? I know where it's stored on my xbox, and I've already FTP'd it to my comp, but It doesn't seem to be working with the complier

There are files from the map pack that you don't have (videos folder, etc.) A couple of people have suggested allowing one to choose what games to include. Then, you could just leave it out. Anyway, right now you can't make it work your way.

Well, I know that the video files are not necessary for the program to work. It says you can leave that folder out, just like the single player maps in Halo 1 and 2.

I can't imagine what else the program would need besides the maps and the default.xbe which makes it v1.1. That's all on the xbox, and I'm positive I can find a way to make it work.

Is it possible for someone to give me a directory listing of the Halo 2 Map Pack for me? I just figure that I'm putting the files in the wrong areas.

No, it wouldn't. If I install using Live before I mod my xbox, it's the same as modding it and using the map pack.

some please seed this for like 10 minute or less... i am 98.3% done with it but there r no seeders and it hassnet moved for 3 hours or so....

If someone will seed this file, I will agree to seed it for one solid week. I got about 86% of the way through, but if someone will help me get the last 14%, I will stay on seeding. I am new here, and have no issue sharing; but I need the rest of the file to do so.

kk.. i will seed this.. i just finished downlading it.
um... i downloaded the multiplayer map pack from xbox live and i have no clue what rhe videos folder is... and so i have the maps but i dont know how or what file order there in so is there a way i can get these videos folers or can u make a torrent of that...
if someone has AIM or MSn messanger can u help me with this

Well, I'm honestly not sure that you and I are on the same page.

If you have the LPE that we're talking about, you didn't download it from XBox Live; it's not a microsoft file. As for the multiplayer map pack downloads on XBL, they are stored in one of the folders in E:\

If you've downloaded the torrent of Halo 2 LPE then just open the torrent again. It seems that four people have currently been kind enough to do so. I will stick to my original offer once the download is finsihed, and I will seed for an additional one week. I don't usually do anything like that, but I really want this file, so I will help others get it.

ok i fised it and what i was sayig is that u need the cd version of Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack cause it needs to have all the video files and other stuff that either u dont get off of xbox live or therer not in teh same files....i hope that makes scince.... so my understanding of it is if u dont have the disc or cant get a copy of it, u can not use this version...
...Now that i fixed everything and ran Compile Halo 2 LPE, it extracts everything then it opens a comand prompt window " the black box" and just sitts there and says.... Loading, Please Wait...file is
C:\Desktop\Halo 2 LPE Beta v.O.2.3.6\LPE\CONFIG\SHELL.exe

I started this download a few days ago, I havent had the opportunity to check on how the download is going so far though. I'll check on it soon and I'd immagine it finnished and I'm seeding right now... but if not... then I hope someone else is seeding.

I'll report back with my errors when I get the chance

I know there will be errors.... the point of this release is to find the errors and tell him what they are so he can fix them

anyhow it isnt done downloading yet... (only 70% :S) and going at 1KB/s it'll take another day and a half to download..... will someone please seed it... for the love of god seed!
