click on one of 'em and go to the edit tab. then click object info. the origin is where you go in and the destination is where you'll end up

What is so horrible about double posts? I mean, yea, they can get excesive, and some can be avoided, but this site seems to consider a double-post worse than the plauge!
Not meant mean-spirited in any way, just been wonderin..

Haha, how is it irratating? i really have to know. If any of you notice the time I joined. You will be glad to know that I joined just to get this one question answered.

Ive been looking at stuff over this forum for a couple months now. And I really can't help but laugh at the number of people "irratated" By a person posting more than one post in succession.

At first I thought you guys were joking. But lots of people are "kindof irratated" by this "double-posting". Dont get me wrong Im on my computer all day. And sit on my ass. But guys. Come on. This is pathetic. I mean...This is "kindof pathetic" - Does anyone see my reasoning on this?

Why would it bother you to read the same person posting twice or three times, or even four? Does it really make a difference if there is someone else's post in between his/hers?

Sure he can probley press the "edit" button (if this forum has one...) But im not sure he really cares about posting twice. Does it take up too much of your browser space? Take too long to load the page? Im sure you all (At minimum) Have atleast a 500kbps connection. And over a gig of RAM. I dont think a double post is really going to make a difference hardware wise.

I think double-posting is a stupid thing to regulate in this forum. Because,
1) There's no post count.
Usually a forum will regulate a double post because they dont want peoples post counts jumping up really high, really fast. And adding to a post should be considered one post. BUT THIS FORUM DOESNT EVEN HAVE A POST COUNTER.
2) I have no idea why else a forum would get mad at a double post.

Thanks for reading this. And now that this topic has totally changed thanks to multi-genre for his quick little input. it most likely will be closed and my question will never be answered.

Until next time!

A. Double posting is and always has been against the rules here. If you would take 2 minutes to read the rules you would know that.
B. It gets irritating because it ends up making the topic 4 pages long, and bumps your topic up over everyone elses. Meaning the chances of the other topics getting help is slim. Also, it is irritating because we have to read all these posts to answer one simple question.

I guarentee you if you keep double posting, tripple posting, etc. A mod will lock this topic. So post like everyone else and wait patiently for your questions to be answered.

And I wasnt saying that you wanted your post count to boost, I was just saying that it is irritating when people come in and post sextacular posts because they didnt read the rules. Use the Edit button.

Also, dont act like that also, people will most likely not want to help you. And if you look up at the top right hand corner of your post there is the edit button, I read your post and it seemed you didnt know where it was.

its just. I goto lots of forums, and no ones as serious as this one about double posting. The one thing I hate is when you post a question. and someone else uses your topic to ask another question or as the same quesiton.
