Adding maps to main menu

Post by [users]platesofpaper »

Does it matter what number I put in for the value? I keep getting failed to load map on nearly every map that I added.

It shouldn't, just as long as it doesn't match another maps number.

Holy crap, there are like a thousand posts about this on here, can't you do some searching befor you post stuff like this?

Edit: Ok, here is what I wrote:

Here is a tut on adding maps to the main menu:

I think someone also said that if you try to add new maps to the main menu (like Relic for example) it wont work. So if your going to add a new map to the main menu, make sure you turn the auto updates off (to do that, go into your Xbox, go to this directory: "/E/TDATA/4d530064", then just rename the file "$U" to something els). The last time a added a map to the main menu was when added Foundation (with the auto updates on) and it worked.

EDIT: Also, if it says "failed to load map", it also usually means you didn't sign the map right. So if it is an old map, sign it (just click sign map or something in a program like Entity or and old map resigner) Also, make sure if you're adding a new map to the main menu, you sign the new map normally (like an old map) first, then you sign the new map in a new map resigner (like CMR).

Listen, I know I have to resign the maps. Yes, my auto-updatre is off. How stupid do you think I am? Now, I asked a specific question; the least you could do is answer it.
