Mkay, I'm trying to place the control room walkway in coag to make some landing pads for pelicans. I injected walkway in Insolence, cloned the netgame equipment in Entity, and placed them in the BSP Viewer. Put the pelicans on them and did the whole signing and encrypting shabang. Just freezes when I load it up though.... (I think there is something I am missing about cloning Netgame Equipment.) Seems that everything I try to swap cloned chunks with just freezes... I think that the chunks cloned in coag are battlerifles. I swapped the collections for the walkway but it just freezes. Does the fact that the walkway is a machine pertain to anything? Any reply is appreciated
inject the walkway with entity, clone the chunks with entity, and make a copy of an itmc with entity. then swap the out the item in the itmc for the walkway. now use halo 2 collection placer to get it in the map. now make sure that u change max on map to 1 and that it floats. then move it around with the bsp viewer
Sorry I couldn't find the link for the PM I sent you earlier but you can search for the goof tag SLC fixer option on the files forum. Also a fellow modder told me the predicted resources method didn't work. I'm not saying it doesn't work but he said he didn't get it to work.
just open the scnr tag, right click predicted resorces and hit clone chunk, then add however many u need. then right click again and display indents. now u just have to refrence the slc braking tags u injected
k, I did everything the way you said to, injected a pelican before it all with Insolence though. I put this on relic actually, I did the best I could to follow your tut, it loaded up but as soon as I looked in the direction of the pad it froze. I'll try doing this without the pelican and get back to you. Glad to finally have the map load though Very helpful.
