Entity help please

Post by Shadow07 »

ok everytime i try to look at a bsp in the bsp viewer or save a meta i get the unhandled acception and it says

Offset and length were out of bounds for the array or count is greater than the number of elements from the index to the end of the source collection.

i have the SPshared.map in the same folder but i dont think entity is finding it. any suggestions?

Well if you're trying to look at SP BSP then your computer probably doesn't have enough memory. How much do you have? Assuming your trying to look at a SP map since you talked about the SPshared map.

No the memory as in RAM. Not the HDD memory. Right click My Computer and click Properties, then at the bottom rightish it should say how much you have, if you have Windows.

Yeah that's the problem. You should stick to MP maps then. I believe 3 gigs of RAM if efficient enough to open all of them.

Yeah I guess I didn't clarify but you will need 3 in order to open the BSP's of the map, or so I'm told.
