Ok in my opinion, i think that we sould be able to have sig animations, if the sig is under the KB file size limit, i mean come on, its just an animation.

i think as long as a sig meets file size limit it's ok, it's not tasking the server any more than a non-animated sig.
we just need to make sure there aren't the asses that make super-flash seizure-inducing ones, and we'll be fine

I don't know how many times people have pressed for changes in Signature/Avatar rules, and they always end up inconclusive. I highly doubt that they will change.
With the people willing to accept this "new" rule, there will always be the people who will only read the first part of the sentence. "Animated signatures are allowed." 'Sweet! I can go upload my 5 gigabyte
There is no such thing as an animation that is not annoying, so get that out of your heads.
Even if it's a scrolling gradient, it's moving. When I'm reading text, the slightest movement on the page catches my eye and I can't concentrate as much as I normally could. That's annoying.
