I Need a Gun Modeling Tutorial

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

I Need a Gun Modeling Tutorial

Post by ModX »

Does anyone know of a tutorial on how to model a simple gun using 3ds Max 6?

Thanks,

If I was talking about modelling existing models, yes. But, I'm more on the search for information on real modelling. Not stretching vertices.

Then search a 3D Studio Max modeling site. Google for one. You can't import new models into Halo yet anyway.

Use google. I found a nice weapon modeling tutorial by doing a lil searching. When I get home I can post link later. But there are some very cool tuts on it out there.

I KNOW you can't import models into Halo yet. If you would have read the question, you would know this.

Anyway, I've found this:

splines are nice but polymodeling for weapons is much more efficient, splines are more used for things like realistic cars and high detailed objects, for guns for games, poly modeling is what ull want to do.

I'm pretty sure it is changed. 480 x 270 to be exact.

Thanks for the link.
