graphics card for halo pc

ok so my computer specs are Inter Pentium CPU 1.80 Ghz, 256 mb or ram. i have the game halo pc and i want to buy this new graphics card http://www.bfgtech.com/5200_256.html. i recently bought a graphics card but it doesnt do that good. i just want to know if the card will make the game run faster like making it lag free or is that all in my computer. oh and my computer is PCI.

It will make it run smoother but you need better stuff in your pc to have the perfect gaming experience. :D

If you're buying a 5200 as an upgrade... Your graphics card must be really bad. Halo doesn't take up much memory, so as long as you have 256 mb of ddr 333 or faster it shouldn't be lagging because of memory (the Xbox only has 64 mb of ddr 200). If you are going to get an old low end pci card, I would recommend the radeon 9200 pci. The 9200 plays dx9 games better than the 5200 and Halo runs in dx9, so it may run better than the 5200.

ok. i also want to know if the geforce fx 5200 can display the graphics like the one on the halo box.
