No offense entended to you, but you seem to be pumping these signatures out rather quickly. And I'm not saying you're not giving any effort, but try taking a long time to make each one. It really improves the quality of a signature when you take a longer time to make it. And believe it or not, your skill grows faster when you're making one or two a day, rather than when you're making five or six a day. When you don't make as many, you see them as original and unique. When you make half-a-dozen a day, each one is "just another," if you see what I'm saying. It's quite difficult to explain.
I have made many signatures that seem as though they would take 10 minutes to make. And many of them could be recreated in 10 minutes. Take my current signature, for example. It seems very simple. A render, some duplications, some blurs, some soft lights, some text; what more could it be? Nothing really, except time. I'll have you know that from start to finish, that signature took me almost and hour and a half to make. After now knowing exactly how I made it, I could probably do it again in a quarter of an hour. But I was not actually contributing to the signature the entire time. I was exploring new effects, new styles, new filters, etc. Sometimes, not even in the same canvas that my signature was in. I'd randomly get an idea, open up a new canvas, and see how the style looked. Over time, with brainstorming and planning, I completed the signature with everything exactly how I wanted it. It's the extra time that really perfects a signature. Next time you make a signature, get to the point where you think it's finished. Then go back and check every slightest detail, stopping yourself along the way and asking yourself, "How can I make this part better?" Then experiment around, looking for ways to create trippy effects and amazing results. Please take my advice. You will really see a dramatic change in your work after five to ten signatures; a matter of a week or two. It will not be long before you are creating eye-candy that nobody can criticize. Good luck, happy designing.
