Where'd the collision go?

Post by DeviousDave »

You know the destroyable walls in the defense base on Zanzibar (the four 'legs' holding up the spinning things and they surround the flag area)?

I moved those to various locations to make roof access (for both the roofs) because I wanted to make Zanzibar more accessable and interesting to play slayer on. However, the collision didn't move with them and there isn't any back in the base where the things are supposed to be.

Anyone know where it went and how I can get the collision back?

I don't know... I'll check but I think they were.. or else they were an obstacle.

What if I moved them, saved, moved, saved in little incraments. Would that work?

If you don't know, then they weren't bsp scen. It takes a special ap to do them.
The little increments thing wouldn't work.
The established thing to do when a mach or scen loses collision is to spawn a containment gate and switch its hlmt for the scen you want.

oh... could you point me to a place or tell me how to do that. Can you just drag and drop the containment gate and swap the hlmt?... but what if the map doesn't have a mach tag.. how would I do that?

If the map doesn't have a mach you can add one, by either dragging and dropping or building it into the map, and it makes a mach tag.

ok.
Just interested.. how big is a batch extracted map? I want to make sure there's enough room on my HDD before I try to batch extract and rebuild, which I plan to do sometime.
